Audio never leaves the device
Detection runs entirely on the listener's device. There is no recording, no audio upload, and no record of what anyone was listening to — the SDK reads a signal we put there ourselves.
To attribute an impression and deliver the right experience, the SDK also reports device and session information, and location where the user has granted permission. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in full in our Privacy Policy and DPA.
Verifiable, not self-reported
Each qualifying detection is resolved to the appropriate campaign and evaluated against the platform's trust, deduplication, and delivery rules. A newly counted impression can then be committed to an append-only transparency log and associated with a signed credential referencing that commitment—giving authorized partners a way to verify the record without relying solely on Phantone's dashboard.
