06XR & AR PLATFORMS

Audio is the trigger layer your XR experiences are missing.

Replace visual markers and manual scans with an acoustic event available to apps that are already open, sensing, and rendering. Phantone lets signaled media initiate an XR scene, unlock, or content event without requiring line of sight.

The Drop — an audio-initiated AR moment, fired by the sound in the room.

Runbook · 5 steps
  1. T+00:00 · STEP 1 / 5

Before the show, the promoter sends the headliner's cue through Phantone once. We embed an imperceptible signal in the track. The audio comes back unchanged — no change to your content pipeline or the venue's PA.

  2. T+00:12 · STEP 2 / 5

The headliner hits the drop. The PA plays it to the room, and the signal rides inside it, inaudible to the crowd.

  3. T+00:30 · STEP 3 / 5

Participating foreground apps — camera and mic already live — that successfully detect the cue surface the moment. No marker to find, no QR to scan, no manual sync.

  4. T+01:30 · STEP 4 / 5

The AR effect initiates from the same signaled audio moment, with timing behavior determined by the experience and device environment. For experiences requiring frame-level synchronization, the app should use the detection as an initiation or synchronization reference and handle final timing locally.

  5. T+10:00 · STEP 5 / 5

Your platform sees the detection events as they land — campaign-attributed, timestamped, and backed by signed evidence associated with each newly counted impression, for you and the promoter to audit after the show.

The lens unlocks from the cue in the room — not from a marker, a printed target, or a manual sync. Each participating app initiates from the same signaled moment and handles final timing locally.

Headline metric
No marker
Nothing to scan, aim, or print — the audio already playing is the cue
Foregrounded
Fires while the app is open and sensing — the state XR is already in
One cue
Participating foreground devices that successfully detect the cue, from a single PA or stream moment
Signed
Signed evidence associated with each newly counted impression, auditable by you and the promoter
What partners are asking for

The problems this vertical wants solved.

  • 01

A trigger that works without line of sight, a printed target, or asking the user to aim a camera.

  • 02

A crowd-scale moment that initiates from the same signaled moment across participating devices, from the PA and broadcast chain already in the building.

  • 03

A trigger that arrives as an event in the XR runtime — not a new capture flow bolted onto the experience.

Framed in Phantone's own voice from partner conversations — not attributed quotes.

Straight about the constraints
  • The app has to be open and sensing — which XR already is.
  • Real-world decoding is probabilistic: volume, distance, and ambient noise all matter.
  • Timing varies: network delivery, device processing, and microphone conditions all affect when a detection lands.
  • Reach is your app's install base, not the size of the room.

Pick one flagship activation and let's fire a live AR moment on your stack.

One SDK sits under the experience you already build. Phantone handles the signal — embedding it, and decoding it on-device. You keep the lens, the scene, and the payload. Audio in, effect out.
