Mission

Audio is one of the world's most widely consumed media formats, but real-world exposure is still commonly measured through delivery logs, panels, and modeled estimates. Phantone adds a direct acoustic detection and verification layer for participating applications.

Who runs it

Phantone.fm is a product of Midtown West LLC, a California limited liability company, founder-led by Matthew Loughran, EMBA, and headquartered in Folsom, California.

Matthew Loughran is the founder of Phantone and CEO of Craftsman AI. His background spans product strategy, enterprise technology, media, entrepreneurship, and community-building. He also serves as Executive Director of TEDxFolsom and Board Chair of the Granite City Entrepreneurship Foundation, which produces Folsom Tech Week.

Engineering, product, and partnerships operate as a single team focused on shipping the platform and supporting launch partners.

Why now

Brands increasingly own or partner with mobile applications, loyalty platforms, fan experiences, and connected environments. At the same time, advertisers and sponsors are demanding more direct evidence of real-world exposure. Phantone connects those two shifts.
